Thousands of perforations in the Stimulite honeycomb cells allow air to flow both vertically and horizontally, enabling 92% of carbon dioxide exhaled by the infant to escape through the perforated cells, preventing him or her from becoming overheated. Both of these factors create a safe microclimate and will significantly reduce the chance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (cot death).
