The Starlock 4" is a therapeutic seating and positioning cushion that provides aggressive positioning, postural support and stability, along with the benefits of an adjustable air cushion for the ultimate positioning and pressure sore protection and relief. The Starlock can perform as a single valve cushion offering the highest level of skin protection and can provide isolated locking of each cell to create a personalised seating surface without ‘contact areas and the expense of a custom cushion.

Setup:

• Set up like a traditional single valve air cushion, then inflate the locking mechanism with the attached bulb pump to secure client position

• The attached bulb pump only operates air pressure in the ‘lock pockets’ at the base of the cushion providing quick and easy access to change positions, increase stability, and customise

• The blue safety valve ensures that settings will not be changed once set

• Once locked, the amount of air volume created in each individual air cell by virtue of the set-up procedure will remain

• In cases of accidental cell damage, only the air from damaged cell(s) will lose air, not the entire cushion or compartment if the cells have been locked
