The Medium Cripper by Quadtools is a revolutionary custom-made reacher/grabber designed for C5-C7 quadriplegics who have extension wrist function (ie, able to bend their hand back at the wrist).The Cripper can also be used by anyone who requires assistance to pick up objects. Available in left or right and Lightweight or Heavy Duty to suit different applications.
The Medium Cripper is made from durable aluminium and stainless steel, and is designed to easily slip over the arm without the need for any straps. Each Cripper is available in left or right and is made according to the user's measurements for a custom fit. The Cripper does not require any grip or finger movement to operate the 'grabbing' mechanism, instead, the user simply has to bend their hand back and forth to pick up or release objects.
